Jester Guide

Jester's are infamous for their DEX. Simple.
Every 10 DEX a Jester get's bonuses,
4% Critical rate, Evasion and Blocking Rate as well (I'll update this when i am DEFINATE about how much)
It is this which allows them to be powerful, because, let's be honest, yoyo's are definately not the strongest of weapons.
However, this is easily countered with the Jester's Crit Rate and their skills.
On every single build, the following skills should be maxed:
Yoyo Mastery
Perfect Block
Enchant Poison (Not bleed, because bleed is not as strong as poison, so you'll be wasting points)
Critical Swing
With these 4 buffs, you'll find that your damage output is significantly increased and that your survival chance is dramatically increased too.

1v1 build
STR: XXX
STA: 25 - 40
DEX: 63 - 64 (Some people like 64 for a reason i'll explain later)
INT: 15
Now, this build is meant for a jester to easily take on a mob on their own. They reach their speedbreak with 63 DEX, deal considerable damage, and with a Historic Yoyo, reach the 70 DEX mark which allows for the next set of bonuses.
Some people like to have 64 DEX and use the Historic Yoyo for a long time, because if you are lucky enough to find an RM to help you (Which this build doesn't need, but of course, RM assistance is always welcome) and they have maxed cannonball, then you'll reach the 91 DEX Speedbreak and also unlock 2 more sets of bonuses, meaning with RM assistance, you can have up to 76% crit rate.
With this build, you don't need assistance, you don't need to worry about dying (Unless you don't use food when required) because knockback and crits will save you and you can kill monsters quite fast
Just to let you know, this is my build (64 DEX) and i can't wait to get full use out of it <3)

Clockworks / PvP build
STR: 43
STA: XXX
DEX: 43
INT: 15
Don't ask. This build is for people who obviously like to kill clockworks and PvP, but isn't much good for levelling.
It requires an RM (Something that, if you are planning on clockworking, you are most likely to have) assistance and an almost constant Cannonball because Jester's weapons are just not strong enough to only have the help of 16% crit rate (56% crit rate with critical swing) and just 43 STR.
On a brighter side. You are not going to die. XD You can take loads of damage and can last absolutely ages against monsters.
On a duller side, the monsters can last absolutely ages against you...

Full Dex Build
STR: 15
STA: 15
DEX: XXX
INT: 15
Now...I am not talking about Bow Jesters here (
Grrrr....)...
But believe it or not, there are some Yoyo Jesters who actually went full dex.
Sure, at level 65 you'll have like 92% Crit rate, but if i'm entirely honest... That sucks. You don't deal good damage. In fact, you don't deal bad damage either. You deal APPAULING damage. Critical hits will knock the monster back non-stop as well, so you'll spend a lot of time running after them trying to kill them dealing pathetic amount of damage and knocking them back some more. Seriously.
I've seen a full dex yoyo jester, who made a complete fool of himself. He started to attack an Elderguard... Knockback... Knockback... Knockback... Oops, he's just been killed by the Giant Crane he went that far, and the Elderguard still has 25% of his health left.
Just writing it down because it's a build. But it really sucks. Don't use this unless you use a bow.
Infact. IF you DO use a bow. Become a ranger. I'm sick of Bow Jester's bragging about how amazing they are.
Still though. It's quite funny when they ask for a duel and are shocked when they realise Bow criticals don't knockback XD

Skills which shouldn't be maxed:
Pulling - It's pretty good when you're at level 115 and maxed, until you're in triple figure and maxed the needed skills, don't even think about maxing this.
Fast Walker - Pretty much the same as pulling. Don't max it until you're an incredibly high level.
Slow Step - No. Just. No. Don't. This skill sucks.
Enchant Blood - Enchant Poison is stronger, don't waste your points. Get it to level 3 for future skills and never even use it unless you do it for a show.
Escape - All you need, once again, is level 3. This skill is bugged. It has the same effect at level 1 as it does at level 10 except at level 10 it consumes more fp. Still useful though.

Useful skills which should be maxed on retrieval:
Yoyo Mastery, Perfect Block, Enchant Poison, Critical Swing - These are needed. Every jester loves these skills with all of their yoyo loving heart. Only those who despite the yoyos and doesn't have a passion for them will not max these skills ;~; You need to max them
Cross line (Abbreviated frequently as Xline) - At max, this skill does some pretty good damage AND has a 40% chance of stun, which is incredibly useful at both lower and higher levels whilst levelling.
Enchant Absorb - Believe it or not, despite the fact that this skill is not as strong as Enchant Poison, this skill at max level will recover you 40% of the damage you dealt to a monster. And with monsters having such enormous HP bars compared to players, this skill is like non-stop fooding
This is a skill to be loved during gianting more than anything.
Hit of Penya - This is the second strongest skill in the game. If that isn't a reason for you to max it... Delete your jester. Delete your account. Smash your computer and go cry in a corner for the rest of your life.

The 'other' good skills:
Dark Illusion - Such fun this skill is <3 And to a Jester, it can be of vital importance! There are certain skills which can't be used unless you're in Dark Illusion mode and it's always a life saver if there is a couple of aggros coming after you. This should be the first skill you max once the important ones have been.
Counterattack - This is a good skill. It always stuns, and it protects you from damage once you're attacked. It's useful, but max the other needed skills first.
Snitch - Its sooooo much fun stealing money from monsters and people <3
Back Step / Sneak Stab - 60% chance of stun and a MASSIVE amount of damage. That is why this skill is like super awesome and useful. Imagine the scene. A big beasty monster is coming after you, you are shocked so you Dark Illusion. The monster wonders where you are. You prepare whilst invicible and then BANG! Massive damage and a possible stun.
Vital Stab - This has a chance of dealing 4x the normal amount of damage if critical. And it has a high critical hit rate as it is. And with a jester's trademark massive critical. And with it being THE best surprise attack in the world. This is awesome XD
Deadly Swing - This is one of them skills which is always forgotten about. It has the same attack power as crossline, but it doesn't stun. It does however have more chance of inflicting a bleed status then what crossline does stunning. However, compared to crossline, it is inferior, as bleed doesn't help too much. It doesn't increase your yoyo attack power like Enchant Poison, and it stops the stronger poison infliction from being cast on the enemy. I think that this shouldn't be maxed until you have everything else (and i mean EVERYTHING, including pulling and slow step) maxed. Despite this being stronger, it can be more of a hinderance then anything
